Need-Based Scholarships
The Lake Country Music Club provides five need-based scholarships annually in the amount of $300 for talented students in financial need used to provide funds with which to pay for music lessons. To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled with a teacher who is a member of the Lake Country Music Club. Students will be considered regardless of age or number of years of study. Students may receive the LCMC scholarship only twice.

Musicians Make a Difference Scholarship
The Susan McTaggart “Musicians Make a Difference” scholarship is a $500 annual scholarship awarded in memory of LCMC founding member Susan McTaggart. Sue was a champion of music education, and worked tirelessly to inspire, educate, and help every music student. The Susan McTaggart scholarship is awarded to one Lake Country Area high school junior or senior who is planning to pursue a post-secondary degree or certificate program in a music-based field. The applicant must submit a sample of his or her work in the chosen area of interest.
